SERVICE CONTRACTS

We are happy to announce that we can now offer a range Service Contracts, taking the responsibility of remembering to arrange a Service, and in some cases of paying the bill away from you. Our 5 Star plans are as follows:

Bronze (Customer having appliances serviced at regular intervals)

Our Bronze level Service contract is simplicity itself. You tell us who you are, what type of Oil appliance you have, and the preferred month of the year you would like the Service, then we’ll do the rest. We will monitor the Service date and intervals and call you on an annual or bi-annual basis to arrange an appointment. We will send an Invoice when the job is done. If you suffer a breakdown, we will attend, rectify the problem and send an Invoice when we’re finished. Terms are payment within 7 days of receipt of the Invoice and we’ll give you up to 20% discount on labour and 10% discount on parts once you’re a regular customer.

Silver and Silver +

Our Silver level Service Contracts are the same as the Bronze, but the Customer pays an annual fee in advance. Because of this, their Service is FREE, as are any callouts to repair the appliance. Only parts used on a Service or callout will be charged for, the same 10% discount applies to the price of these parts if you pay within the payment terms.

Gold and Gold+

Again our Gold level Service Contracts are the same as the Bronze, but the Customer pays an annual fee in advance. Because of this, their Service is FREE, as are any callouts to repair the appliance. There’s no 10% discount because in addition, any parts used on a Service or callout are also FREE (depending on cover type).

Silver and Gold contract cover deals only with the appliances internal components i.e. those supplied by the boiler manufacturer, and does not include callouts to check system pressure, fire valves, external circulating pumps, external expansion vessels, room stats, motorised valves, cylinder stats, time clocks, boiler casings or cosmetic facia panels, nor the supply of corrosion inhibitor, sludge removal or de-scaling chemicals etc, or the labour or callouts involved in using or fitting them.

Silver+ and Gold+ contracts give the same cover as their lower contract with the addition of labour or labour and material costs for the replacement of external circulating pumps, external expansion vessels, motorised valves, room stats, fire valves, and time clocks etc. but excludes boiler casings and cosmetic facia panels, and the supply and use of de-scaling and sludge removal chemicals.

Prices are valid for boilers up to 50KW with a maximum of 3 motorised valves, circulating pumps no larger than UPS 15/60 or equivalent and an expansion vessel of no larger than 30litres. Prices do not cover work or repairs to unvented HW or associated expansion vessels or controls. Plate Heat exchangers and TMV’s are not covered unless mains water is used with a combi boiler. Boiler Water Jackets are not included within any Contract price.

All costs are relevant to our first Radial, which covers areas with the Postcodes; NE61 2,3,4,5,6, NE65 0,7,8,9, NE66 1,2,3,4,5,9, NE67 5, NE68 7, NE69 7, NE70 7, NE71 6, TD15 1,2. Other areas may be included, but at additional costs.

All Services and callouts are within our normal working hours.

Additional visits for breakdown or failure of equipment of regular customers will be treated as urgent, and we will endeavour to attend (and if possible repair) any calls within a 24 hour period, or as soon as reasonably practical within our normal working hours after receiving notification of failure

Although we try to set service and callout prices for a 12 month period from 1st April each year, we reserve the right to alter prices without prior notification. Customer should always enquire as to the cost of a Service or Callout before booking in work

In the event of a boiler breakdown please make sure you have sufficient fuel, that the water pressure (where applicable) is correct, and that you have tried all reset buttons; i.e. overheat or limit stat, and burner lockout before booking in a visit.
